Proudly representing the country, our 60 Scout Contingent, 12 Contingent Staff and 7 Unit Leaders is actively participating in the world event, joining with 45,000 other Scouts from the world-over, as we all celebrate 100 years of the Scouting Movement.
Alongside the Philippine Contingent, is the 25-man strong Philippine International Service Team (IST) who will serve as World Jamboree Staff, together with the multi-national IST, numbering to about 8,000.
For the first time in the history of Alpha Phi Omega in the Philippines through the Scouting Commission, APO will play a very significant role in the event, as true-blooded APO members will lead the country’s representatives, in their official capacity as Head of the Philippine Contingent and as Team Leader of the Philippine IST. It is in the true spirit of service to our beloved Alpha Phi Omega, that we are motivated yet humbled by the opportunity to be part of this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
