ICAPO Officers 2007-2010 
Hi, Brods and Sis and Everyone,
During the APO-USA convention in Louisville, Kentucky, on December 28, 2006, the International Council of Alpha Phi Omega or ICAPO held an election meeting. Congratulations to the following who will serve a three (3)-year term of office from January 1, 2007, through 2010 (the next election will be at the APO-Philippines convention that year):
Chairman: Brod Atty. Felix “Chato” J. Marinas Jr., Eta 1973B (promoted)
Vice Chairman: Brother Wilfred M. Krenek, Alpha Rho 1971
Secretary: Brother Belton Lim
Brod Chato was APO-Philippines national president in 1993-1995. Brother Wilfred was APO-USA national president in 1995-1998. Brother Belton was a past Region VII director.

This is going to be the first time an APO-Philippines member is lead ICAPO officer. The International Council, which has two (2) members-nations, APO-Philippines and APO-USA, had its first election in the 1996 APO-USA Phoenix convention. Brother David A. Emery, Iota Phi 1979, was the first ICAPO chairman and served from 1996 through 1999. Now in its 10th year, ICAPO also has two (2) associate nonvoting members, APO-Australia and APO-ACNA (Alumni Council of North America).

Brothers Wilfred, Belton, Allen, and Dave have attended APO-Philippines conventions. They also are honorary members of APO-Philippines collegiate chapters.
Brod Chato attended the 1994 APO-USA Dallas convention. Chato was a 1994 honorary member of APO-USA’s Gamma Beta chapter at San Jose State University. Brod Mel attended the 1980 Los Angeles convention and the last several APO-USA conventions: 1994, 1996, 1998 Minneapolis convention, 2000 Philadelphia convention, 2002 New Orleans convention, 2004 Denver convention, and 2006.
