This school year the chapter is restrained from recruiting first year UP Cebu Iskolars due to the fact that the UNIVERSITY CODE clearly stipulates that FRATERNITIES OR SORORITIES are not ALLOWED to recruit first year Iskolars and vice versa first year Iskolars are prohibited from joining any FRAT or SORORITY.

In view of this ever present problem yours truly opines and suggest that come this 2007-2008 school year we re-evaluate our position by registering in the OSA as an ORGANIZATION not a FRATERNITY. It is only by changing our chapter by laws and registering as ALPHA PHI OMEGA SERVICE ORGANIZATION that we get the privilige of recruiting first year Iskolars.

Yours truly being the present Supervising Administrative Officer of UPCEBU it is my sworn duty to ensure that no Iskolars will undergo hazing or commit hazing activity as embodied in the ANTI-HAZING LAW.  I emplore all Zeta Omega residents to observe strictly the ANTI-HAZING LAW.

It may sound unacceptable but it is something that we have to observe strictly and with good faith.
